He attended Ram Junior High School and Berea High School where he was a star wrestler. He moved to Akron, Ohio as a young man, but later returned to his hometown of Berea, Ohio, a city he had a strong connection to.<br \/>\nDavid was a quiet, reserved man who enjoyed spending time alone. \u0003He was a big fan of the Browns and Cavaliers and just about anything Cleveland related. He always showed great concern for the younger generation, especially his nieces, nephews, and younger cousins.<br \/>\nHe was employed by the Berea City School system and later by the \u0003West Lake City School system, retiring after many years of service in 2019.<br \/>\nThe personnel at the schools he served as a custodian appreciated his kindness to others, his willingness to help and his gentle demeanor.
