Jones"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":1376,"template":"","class_list":["post-1369","obituaries","type-obituaries","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":{"sunrise":"January 23, 1952","sunset_date":"","obituary":"<p>Mr. Terral Donnell &#8220;TJ&#8221; Jones Sr, son of the late John E and Emma E Jones was born on January 23,\u00a01952 in Birmingham, AL.\u00a0 He attended the public schools of Akron, OH and graduated from Buchtel High School.\u00a0 He married his love and life partner Amelia (Webb) Jones and to this union two children were born.\u00a0 He retired from Goodrich Tire and Rubber and from\u00a0Advanced Elastomer Systems.\u00a0 He was also the owner and operator of The Five Devils Social Club later renamed the Jamboree Lounge.<\/p>\n<p>He enjoyed camping and fishing on Lake Erie and Canada. He loved and enjoyed Riverfront Marina &#038; Campgrounds where he had many friends.\u00a0He was an excellent cook and grill master. He welcomed and hosted many fabulous family and friends gatherings and cookouts.\u00a0He found great pride and\u00a0joy in his many projects that he completed on home improvements and gardening. His generosity and love to all especially his children and other children was well known. He was especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Jones; grandparents, Dimons Todd and Charlotte McCree; grandchild, Aniyah Denise Jones; aunt, Marion (James) Woods, Juanita Seals, Diane Allen; brother in law, Gene Webb; sister in law, Helen Webb Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>Terral is survived by his loving wife, Amelia Jones; daughter, Tiffany (Steven) Gray; son, Terral Jones Jr.; grandchildren,\u00a0 Diamond Jones, Amelia Jones, Amarion Jones, Nathaniel Gray, Xavier Gray, Apollo Jones, Adeynn Jones, Adoniss Jones; great-grandchildren, Cyree Cooper, Santana Smith; great god son, Ahnyis Billingsley; sister, Janet Montgomery; brother, Garrick Jones; brother in law, James Jackson and Melvin Webb; sister in law, Odessa Webb (Gene); uncle, Fred (Joan) Todd; aunt, Yvonne Cowan and a host of other nieces, nephews cousins and friends too many to name.<\/p>\n","Image":false,"funeral_location":"Sommerville Funeral Services 1695 Diagonal Rd, Akron, OH 44320","funeral_service_date":"February 8, 2021","viewing_time":"11:00 am","service_time":"12:00 pm","video_link":""},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries\/1369","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/obituaries"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1376"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1369"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
