Michael Dennis Patrick Smith Sr. was born June 24, 1983, to Sharon Smith and Michael Wright in Akron, Ohio.
\nMichael grew up in Akron, Ohio where he attended Akron Public Schools. Michael worked several jobs during his lifetime. He worked at Falls Stamping & Welding. Michael also worked for Ashton Tree Company where he learned to climb and cut down trees. After, learning to climb trees, Michael realized that climbing was his passion. Later, he was self-employed cutting trees and branches until his untimely death.
\nMichael loved spending time with his children and his family. He enjoyed cooking, barbecuing, fishing and traveling.
\nMichael took pleasure in encouraging his son, nephews and nieces to do what was right. He focused on teaching and showing them to have good work ethics. Michael was caring, loving and giving.
\nMichael also expressed a desire to learn more about Jehovah God.
\nMichael was preceded in death by sisters, Toni Smith and Tarkesta Landry; brother, Tracy Parker and nephew, Jaylen Oliver.
\nMichael leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children, sons, Michael Dennis Patrick Smith Jr., Jay\u2019mont Michael Ray Smith; daughter, Jay\u2019la Marie Smith. He leaves to mourn; his loving mother, Sharon Smith; father, Michael Wright; sisters, Alicia Wilkes, Denice (Lawrence) Taylor, Julia Smith, Kelly Gaines; brother, Michael Howard.
\nSpecial friends, Ashley Nelson, Samantha Foster, Teresa Rodgers, Darshaun Richardson, Terrance Fields, Andre Ball, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.<\/p>\n
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, May 27, 2022, 1:00 pm, with services immediately following at 2:00 pm.<\/p>\n
