McCurry (David); bonus son, Shannon Phillips all of Akron, Ohio; forever cherished and remembered by his siblings and their families, brothers, Larry and Harry of Mississippi and Victor of California; sisters, Alice and Juanita of Mississippi and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.<\/p>\n<p>Otha was preceded in death by his father, Walter Lee; mother, Cletora; sister, Glories and brothers, Bobby Ray and Walter Jr.<\/p>\n<p>In 1960, Otha relocated to Akron, Ohio and worked for Chrysler Corporation for 35 years.<\/p>\n<p>His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that self-education is a powerful tool to deepen one\u2019s knowledge.
