He was born September 9, 1952, in Mississippi.<br \/>\nEmmett proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed 70\u2019s music and cowboy movies. He was a loving and caring brother, father, and friend.<br \/>\nHe was preceded in death by; his father, Willie James Taylor, mother Alice Ezell, son, Emmett Earl Taylor Jr. Daughter, Katrina Taylor, Maternal grandparents, Will and Lillie Petty.<br \/>\nLeft to cherish his memories is wife, Francie Napier Taylor; sister, Charstean Nicholson; daughter, Phyllis Fletcher; son, David Napier; stepson, Marvin Napier; two nephews, Daniel L. Nicholson Jr., and Bryan L.
