Bland"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":3835,"template":"","class_list":["post-3828","obituaries","type-obituaries","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":{"sunrise":"August 6, 1962","sunset_date":"November 4, 2023","obituary":"<p>Jeffrey Steven Bland passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, after a brief illness.\u00a0\u00a0Jeffrey was born on August 6, 1962, in Akron, Ohio to Helen and Willie Bland, Jr.<\/p>\n<p>Steve was educated in the Akron public schools and graduated from Buchtel High School in 1981.\u00a0He served with the United States Army and was proud to be a veteran.\u00a0 Steve was employed with the Summit County Sheriff department for several years.\u00a0\u00a0 He later worked for the University of Akron.<\/p>\n<p>He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Bland, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Manley and brother, Billy Bland.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by sisters, Kathryn Diann Bland and Linda (Larry) Moran; brother, Mark (Renee) Bland, aunts, nephews and nieces and a host of extended family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 1:45 pm.<\/p>\n<p>A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n","Image":false,"separate_servicevisitation":true,"funeral_location":"","funeral_service_date":"","viewing_time":"","service_time":"","video_link":"","iframe":"","visitation_date":"","visitation_time":"","visitation_location":""},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries\/3828","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/obituaries"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3835"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3828"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
