She will be sadly missed by everyone that she knew \u2013 especially family and friends that loved her dearly. Ruby enjoyed gardening, crafts, and spending time with loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>She graduated from North High School in Akron and attended Ohio State University in Columbus. She returned to Akron, where she worked as a Court Clerk for Summit County Juvenile Court for many years, until her retirement in November 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her lifetime, Ruby attended, and\/or was a member of Mount Zion Baptist (Akron), People\u2019s Baptist (Akron), Antioch Baptist (Akron), Great Commission Bible (Cincinnati), and Christ Community Bible (Dayton).<\/p>\n<p>She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Louise Reynolds; aunt, Osie Mae Owens (aka \u201cmom), and husband, Laddie W. Fair, Sr.<\/p>\n<p>Ruby leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Toni Renee (James &#8220;Jimmy&#8221;) Jackson (Dayton); son, Kariuki (Erica) Epps; step-daughter, Satonya Fair; step-son, Laddie W. Fair, Jr.; step-daughter, Antonette Weber; sisters, Elizabeth \u201cTootsie\u201d Reynolds, Charlotte Reynolds and Judy Owens; brothers, Walter (Leila) Reynolds and Dennis \u201cFlip\u201d (Debbie) Reynolds; grandchildren, Nasari Epps, Kya Epps; Monique Washington,Tania Walker, Malcom Robinson, Jr., Brandi Fair, BriAnna Fair, Christian Fair, Laddie Fair, III; 13 great grandchildren; a host of beloved nieces and nephews; and best friend, Qwinita Bell (Columbus).<\/p>\n","Image":false,"funeral_location":"","funeral_service_date":"","viewing_time":"","service_time":""},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries\/996","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obituaries"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/obituaries"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/997"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/dev.sommervillefuneralservice.com\/dev\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=996"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
